Ann-Sophie (Sophie) Meuret has been a special education teacher for ten years. She has two master's degrees with a dual certification in special education and elementary school education and educational diagnostics. She has a reading endorsement and lifelong experience with dyslexia, both as a student and as an educator.

How?
I have training in Orton Gillingham - IMSE. I use Triumphs and SPIRE techniques. I was trained in LETRS. I specialize in reading and language disorders. I have a reading endorsement. I have training in Number Talks for math skills.
Why?
As a special education teacher for the past ten years, I observed a need for individualized support and one-on-one services. New ability for tutoring, starting July 17th, 2026. I bring an experienced, child-friendly, and creative environment to my tutoring sessions.

In addition to private tutoring, I offer parent advocacy services, including but not limited to parent support, attending IEP meetings, attending parent-teacher conferences, and inviting guardians to attend tutoring sessions to learn how to best support their child. Your child does not need to be a client to receive advocacy support
